Fashion photographer Mario Sorrenti recently released a book of intimate portraits (some never before seen, many NSFW) of Kate Moss before she was discovered and catapulted to supermodel status. Apparently, these were the pics that caught Calvin Klein’s eye and led to the whispery blockbuster Obsession campaign. The standard edition is $100, but you can still grab a $1,000 limited edition, which include a gelatin silver print signed and numbered by Sorrenti. (Out now)

STREAM: Apostle
The creepiest flick of fall isn’t the rebooted Halloween, but a period drama from Gareth Evans (The Raid). A drifter (Legion’s Dan Stevens, looking disheveled) takes on an early 20th-century religious cult in order to rescue his kidnapped sister. Gory rituals, a discordant soundtrack and copious use of torture racks ensue in this mashup of The Wicker Man, The Witch and Kill List. (Oct. 12)
REMEMBER: Beastie Boys Book
Not your typical music biography. Adrock and Mike D, the surviving members of the seminal NYC hip-hop group, not only spill on their past — they also present a cookbook by chef Roy Choi, a graphic novel, a map of Beastie Boys New York, mixtape playlists, guest contributions (Amy Poehler, Wes Anderson, Colson Whitehead) … and a live-scored book tour. (Oct. 30)
BUY: Iconic Classic Rock Album Art
So you wanted to buy the Dark Side of the Moon painting? Thanks to a new sale from the San Francisco Art Exchange, you can now bid on (or if you’re in town, go ogle) original album art from some of the 20th century’s most popular bands, from the Stones to the Beatles to Led Zeppelin and the Cars. (Through Oct. 31)
WATCH: The Romanoffs
“There are so many people out there with your background … I guess they’re proud but they’re really f*cked up.” Eight separate stories from around the globe, loosely tied together by the idea that each main character believes they are a modern-day descendant of the Russian royal family. A limited series with a new cast every week, you’ll recognize many of the actors from their time on Mad Men … familiar territory for Matthew Weiner, that show’s creator and also the mind behind this one. (Amazon, Oct. 12)
WATCH: First Man
Want to be proud to be an American? This biopic of astronaut Neil Armstrong (played by Ryan Gosling) directed by Damien Chazelle (Whiplash, La La Land) should do the trick — if you can ignore the fake news “controversy.” (Oct. 12)

The magical surrealism of Haruki Murakami (1Q84) continues in this epic quest, which starts with the discovery of a painting and leads through “a two-foot-high physical manifestation of an Idea” and “an underworld haunted by Double Metaphors.” It’s also apparently a riff on The Great Gatsby.
