Where to visit this spring, Westeros or Westworld?

Bringing your Sunday HBO habits to real life: the luxury adventure travel group Black Tomato, which just released travel itineraries based on their two hit primetime fantasy dramas.

The Westworld-inspired trip stretches from Utah to California, touching on areas used as set locations for the sci-fi/western series. The includes stops walks along the Moab trails and through Arches National Park, a trip to Castle Valley (a Utah landscape used in several of the show’s overhead shots) and a guided tour around Dead Horse Point State Park (where Ed Harris’s Man in Black patrols). Four-star resorts, private plane tours and side trips to Vegas and L.A. film studios are also potential tour stops.

Sorry: No robot sex. But hey, no robot uprising, either!

The Game of Thrones experience, meanwhile, centers on Croatia and Iceland, with an official GoT location scout serving as your guide. Experience “North of the Wall” near the Svinafellsjokull glacier, plus tours of Þjórsárdalur Valley (the waterfalls where Arya Stark practiced her sword techniques) and Lake Mývatn, where the Wildlings roamed.

Sorry: No dragons. But also no Red Wedding, so …

Why these series as travel inspiration? “Certain shows are set in a place where these dramatic landscape play such a central role,” co-founder Tom Marchant told Cool Hunting.

Not in the mood for cable-themed adventures? BT also just introduced luxury journeys to Greenland, The Congo and The Faroe Islands.
