The First Six Years of LOVE Magazine’s Model-a-Day Advent Calendar, in Review

Want some visions of supermodels dancing in your head?

December 2, 2016 9:00 am

It’s December, so if you haven’t picked up your advent calendar yet, you can’t say we didn’t warn you.

Thankfully, LOVE Magazine has arrived with a one-horse open sleigh full of supermodels.

The magazine’s model-a-day advent calendar kicked off yesterday with Bella Hadid, fresh off her Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show debut. If the video looks familiar, it’s because the aerobic stylings were inspired by the classic music video for Eric Prydz’s “Call On Me.” (There’s alsoa second version of Bella’s fitness demonstration on their website, which seems to be inspired by that song from Ferris Bueller.)

LOVE has been doling out cinematic Christmas cheer since 2010 (aka the year of Kelly Brook wearing naught but a Santa hat), so today, we thought we’d take a moment to look back at our favorite entries from over the years.

You know, just in case you need something to pass the time while you wait for the rest of this year’s videos to unlock.

Kelly Brook (2013)
The one who started it all giving us the only reason we’d ever want to live our lives in a snowglobe.

Charlotte McKinney (2015)
If anyone can convince us a Christmas sans snow is any good, it’s Ms. McKinney.

Emily DiDonato (2011)
Proving that a supermodel can look sexy even in front of a sheet.

Alessandra Ambrosio (2014)
You think you’ve seen all there is of Alessandra? Think again.

Kendall Jenner (2015)
It begins with an ominous drum beat and big bold text proclaiming “A FILM BY JAMES LIMA,” and ends with the certainty that Kendall Jenner will never do anything this weird again.

Kelly Brook (2011)
This list wouldn’t be complete without at least two appearances from Brook.

Jessica Hart (2013)
This year, LOVE asked the models to sing classic carols, to varying levels of success.

Abbey Clancy (2014)
For those  who need a break from all that ice and snow.

Dree Hemingway (2013)
A black-and-white lo-fi dream from the great-granddaughter of Ernest Hemingway.

Pixie Geldof (2011)
What are you trying to do, give Santa a heart attack?

Suki Waterhouse (2014)
Best Toblerone ad we’ve ever seen.

Emily Ratajkowski (2015)
“Can’t take my eyes off of you” is an understatement.

As for the rest of this season, you can look forward to new videos featuring Emily Ratajkowski, Rita Ora, Alessandra Ambrosio, Heidi Klum, Kendall Jenner, Kim Kardashian and even the holiday cheermeister herself, Paris Hilton.
