Travel Through Tasmania in This Ultra-HD Time-Lapse Video

It’s no secret that Australia’s island state Tasmania is home to some of the most breathtaking scenery and unique wildlife in the world. The island features lush forests, craggy peaks, and soft-sand beaches. In fact, over a third of the 35,000-square-mile state is a government-protected wildlife refuge. Australian filmmaker Filippo Rivetti recently took a two-week trek across the island and made a time-lapse video documenting his travels. Some of the unnamed locations featured in the video include Cradle Mountain, Bay of Fires, Wineglass Bay, Mount Wellington, and Freycinet National Park. See more of Rivetti’s work here.
