Library of Congress Acquires Historic Courtroom Sketches
Drawings include scenes from Charles Manson, Larry Flynt trials
The Library of Congress recently acquired the Thomas V. Girardi collection, a group of 96 illustrations from historic court cases. Sketch artists Aggie Kenny, Bill Robles, and Elizabeth Williams produced the pieces for a variety of cases, including those involving Charles Manson in 1970 and Hustler publisher Larry Flynt in 1987.
