Instagram Artist Turns Ordinary Travel Photos Into Whimsical Masterpieces

Like you, artist Rich McCor (a.k.a. “Paperboyo”) takes a lot of travel photos from heavily trafficked tourism spots that would normally just get lost in his Instagram feed.

But the self-described “nondestructive vandal” then adds paper cutouts to them, transforming ordinary, freeze-framed tourist traps like Big Ben and the Leaning Tower of Pisa into stunning works of art. He’s gotten so good at what he does that travel companies like Lonely Planet have commissioned him to work for them. Take a look at some of his coolest work below.
