Tod Williams Billie Tsien Architects (TWBTA) recently won the competition to design the Obama Presidential Library, beating out 140 other proposals. TWBTA will partner with the Chicago-based firm IDEA on the project. The Obama Foundation said TWBTA “stood out in their commitment to explore the best ways of creating an innovative center for action that inspires communities and individuals to take on our biggest challenges. IDEA brings local knowledge and a track record for delivering excellence to large, complex civic projects.” Though the library won’t be completed until 2021, RealClearLife has gathered some of the best work by TWBTA below to tide you over.
