Black Friday and Cyber Monday are arriving a little later this year, but several retailers and deals sites are posting (or leaking) discounts right now.

So you need to start looking early. While we’ve recommended several Black Friday apps and browser extensions in the past — and those are all still worthy resources — here we offer an updated list of price comparison tools, apps offering exclusive discounts and other online resources that’ll help you find legitimately good gift deals by month’s end.

For never having to hunt down discount codes: Honey

A Chrome extension that’ll notify you when items you want drop in price, but the selling point here is that the app will automatically find and apply promo codes

For Amazon fanatics: Delight

Like Honey, but specifically tailored to Amazon shoppers. This Chrome extension features over 60,000 deals (some exclusive) from 4,000+ brands, with an average discount of 20%.

For replacing newspaper circulars: Flipp

Old-school meets new-school. This  web and phone app reprints ad circulars from major chain stores, based on your location. You can find some early Black Friday ads here

For shoppers who love Excel: Hip2Save

From a long-running savings/coupon site, this is a massive list of the best tech, media and household deals available on Black Friday … presented as a ridiculously long, read-only spreadsheet.

For budgeting: Santa’s Bag

Add gifts (and notes and photos) for each intended recipient, save shopping links and work within your budget across merchants.

For really seeing if that door-busting deal is worth it: CamelCamelCamel

Track prices of items over time and see if or when that 55” TV is really at its lowest price ever. Mainly for Amazon, though the site can tell if you if a third-party vendor has offered a cheaper price.

For people who absolutely have to go to a mall: Malls by Point Inside

Interactive maps of 1,110 North American shopping malls. It’ll even show you the most efficient route to the store you want once you’re inside. Shop safe, my friend.

And, in addition to all that, be sure to keep an eye on InsideHook’s own guide to getting the best prices on all the coolest stuff.
