Ronnie Fieg’s label has teamed up with the iconic toy brand once again for a unique Barbie doll, complete with complimentary apparel and accessories capsule for women and children. The perfect gift (to her or for yourself, ladies) for budding hypebaes and seasoned streetwear veterans alike, the collection is the right way to support her sartorial proclivities this holiday season.
The Kith x Barbie Doll, shown above, is a new take on the long-standing piece of plastic; created under the supervision of industry-leading stylists like Ade Samuel, Dianne Garcia and Maeve Reilly, the Kith iteration comes complete with hoop earrings, an outfit change and a collectibility factor rivaling that of KAWS. Bad news: unless you’re already a KITH-head, you probably didn’t get the chance to cop one, and unfortunately, she’s sold out. The good news? Her matching apparel collection is still very much in stock, and also still very, very hot.
From tees to hoodies to hats, the KITH Women for Barbie apparel slays. Adorned with the classic Barbie logo and related iconography, each article of the multi-piece collection marries cute, chic and hype in a pretty, mostly pink package. The Gothic Jane Hoodie and Sweatpant set are noticeable exceptions; drenched in a velour green, they’re woven from 400 GSM cotton fleece fabric, meaning she’ll enjoy premium comfort regardless of whether it’s a Barbie Winter Wonderland or Christmas on Barbie’s Beach.
