Enterprise Now Picks You Up — in Aston Martins

“Bond, Mr. James Bond. Please proceed to a grey courtesy…”

James Bond’s penchant for totaling Aston Martins within moments of getting behind the wheel  would make it nearly impossible for him to rent one.

Hopefully your record is cleaner.

Because Enterprise rent-a-car just announced a deal with Aston Martin that will add the British automaker’s DB9 and Rapide S models to the company’s Exotic Car Collection at 20 select locations across the U.S.

The 552 HP Rapide Ss and 510 HP DB9s join a fleet of luxury vehicle rentals that already includes offerings like the Audi R8 Spyder, Ferrari California, Bentley Continental GT, Chevy Corvette, Maserati GranTurismo, Lamborghini Huracan, Porsche 911 and Tesla Model S.

Renting an Aston will cost between $900 and $1,400 per day, which is actually far less than some of the other high-end models. “We’re confident that these iconic cars will be a big hit, and we can’t wait to get our customers into them,” says Enterprise Holdings senior VP Brice Adamson.

Should you get one, drive it in a way that would make Q happy — Enterprise doesn’t provide insurance for admittedly heroic jackknife maneuvers.
