Shot in the dark:

One of your New Year’s resolutions involved getting in shape.

“I’m going to run a marathon!” you yelled on December 31st while throwing back another glass of Perrier-Jouet Grand Brut.

Bluff: called. Because we found the most bananas marathon of them all: the five-star luxury UMA Adventure in Bhutan, booking now.

Essentially, this is a stay-in-luxury-hotels-while-running-a-lot trip, pegged to the debut of the Bhutan International Marathon.

Over nine days, you’ll shuttle between two luxury resorts with private villas, king-size beds, Italian linens, private terraces and personal butlers.

From there: guided runs/tours through the Paro Valley. Paying respects at the Kyichu Lhakhang temple. Mountain climbs to remote monasteries.

Then, on day five, the race: a 26-mile run through unspoiled countryside, finishing at the literal Palace of Happiness (the Punakha Dzong).

Afterward, you’ll be treated to deep tissue massages, spa treatments and hot stone baths.

Your fitness goals: blissfully resolved.
