Selkirk is run by Swiss super sherpa Ruedi Beglinger, the focus of the award-winning new documentary “A Life Ascending.”
The Experience is his ski tour company, which is perched on the outermost peaks of Durrand Glacier in British Columbia (it’s not easy to get there).
Once you are there — heli-portation is required and included — you’ll have access to 62 miles of deep powder snow skiing across 26 scenic alpine peaks and 14 glaciers.
That’s three times the size of Whistler.
It’s not double-black diamond, but Beglinger suggests “strong intermediate” skills.
At the end of each day, you’ll return to the Chalet, a cozy Swiss-style ski lodge with private bedrooms, saunas, kitchens, freshly prepared food, wood-burning fireplaces, and “every possible amenity … including wireless Internet.”
