Because the interwebs are crammed full of crazy things, and sometimes the purpose of those things is not immediately discernible, we present WTF Is It?

WTF is it?
The Bed Tent, a polyester creation that allows you to mimic sleeping in the outdoors from … your bed.

So what does it do?
Well, what it does is pretty self explanatory. The queen-size Bed Tents can be set up on top of a bed or on the floor, and offer all the comforts regular low-end tents provide … so basically, none.

Who makes ‘em?
A Seoul-based firm called Ddasumi that appears to offer a number of other budget sleeping quarters (read: polyester holding cells) that we would avoid spending the night in if given an alternative.

Are they in any way useful?
If the inside of your house has a mosquito problem, your heating system is on the fritz, yes. If neither of those conditions is present, no

Aren’t you being a little harsh?
Picture walking into someone’s house and seeing one of these. Then picture how fast you’d leave.

Can I buy one?
If your Korean is decent, you might be able to on Ddasumi’s site. If not, there’s always Amazon.

Should I buy one?
Should you be looking for a Valentine’s Day gift that’ll make you a single man again, have at it, hoss.
