You Can Thank America’s National Parks for This Tasty Golden Ale

Nothing says a job well done like an ice cold beer

America’s unquestioned best idea: the National Park system.

America’s questionable second best idea? Craft beer.

It only makes sense they come together. Crafted over the course of two years by Uinta Brewing, the Golden Ale Park Series was designed to raise awareness and appreciation for all the 84 million acres of our National Parks system.

While the beer — a 5.3%-ABV ale brewed with carapils and caramel malts and Willamette and Sterling hops — will stay the same, the design of the Park Series cans will rotate throughout the year and show off as many of the 58 parks in the system as possible.

The Salt Lake City-based brewery (which has five national parks within five hours of its location) has already honored Yosemite, Yellowstone and Acadia and more parks are coming soon.

To celebrate the release, Uinta is awarding an Annual Parks Pass with an Instagram contest. Drinking recommended, not required.
