A 1930s-inspired cruiser for the gentlemen of 2017

Old-school luxury usually comes with heavy-duty pains. Because achieving a genuine vintage look, whether on land or sea, typically means shelling out the coin to keep yesterday’s visions of beauty up to par with today’s standards.

But the Livingstone 24 Yacht from Hartman thankfully melds the best of both worlds. From deck to detail, the ’30s-inspired vessel is classic in feel, but contemporary in application.

The yacht — which is priced upon request — has four staterooms holding up to nine passengers and features a kitchen, bar, dining, lounge areas and packing a pair of 345 horsepower MAN engines with a state-of-the-art navigation system.

“If you have men who will only come if they know there is a good road, I don’t want them. I want men who will come if there is no road at all,” states Hartman website, pulling words of wisdom from Brit hero David Livingstone.

As if by just looking at her we weren’t inspired enough. Minimal, yet innovative, the Livingstone 24 is a one-way ticket to being the Captain Clark Gable of uncharted waters.
