The Fate of the Furious made $532 million last weekend, making it the most lucrative global opening in movie history. (Yes, more than Star Wars: The Force Awakens.) But after eight films in the franchise, they need new blood.

Who can match the Rock and Vin Diesel? None other than Jerry Seinfeld.

After nine seasons of his web series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, with its parade of rare automobiles, this mash-up trailer was inevitable. But it took the 10-year vets at Funny or Die to see the similarities between the two series: exotic cars, wrecks and memorable one-liners.

Watching the video above, Jerry’s dry comedic sensibilites play surprisingly well against Dwayne Johnson’s adrenalized shouting. And with Comedians in Cars moving to the Netflix juggernaut later this year, maybe we’ll see Seinfeld make a cameo in the ninth Fast and Furious. Either way, both of these franchises are here to stay.
