If you’re looking to get into a sexy swinging situation with some strangers, you may want to invest in a decorative pineapple flag or figurine. Or, if you’d rather trust an Italian urban legend when seeking out an open-minded group,  you may want to book a trip to the nearly deserted Italian island Zannone.

As reported by CNN Travel, Zannone became a hotspot for “lavish sex parties” (think Eyes Wide Shut) after “chic and sexually adventurous aristocratic couple” Marquis Casati Stampa and Anna Fallarino rented it from the state in the ‘60s.

Stampa apparently enjoyed watching his wife with other guys and they would frequently host dukes, barons, countesses, billionaires and other VIPs to partake in such activities.

Sadly, the fun ended in a nasty way in 1970 when Stampa, in a fit of jealousy, killed Fallarino, one of her lovers and then himself. Since then, the island has remained fairly uninhabited save for wild sheep and visiting teams of biologists and scientists.

However, daytrippers possibly trying to capture a bit of the old magic have begun to trickle in from Zannone’s sister-island Ponza. So if you’re into that sort of thing, and who are we to judge, here’s how you can join them.

And you might want to bring a pineapple (it’s a symbol of hospitality).
