Always be the dumbest guy in the room.

What I mean: there is wisdom in knowing that you know nothing.

Take InsideHook. Each day, we try to provide you with knowledge to help you get through your day-to-day.

Sometimes we set out writing these things knowing exactly what we’re going to talk about.

And sometimes — usually the more interesting times — we go in wide-eyed and not quite sure where we’re headed. Ignorant, but excited to learn.

And only through trial and error, vigilant reporting and even the occasional mistake — when we say “here’s a great bourbon,” do know we’ve tried a lot of bad ones — do we find our answer and present it to you.

Like so:

Dropping some more knowledge: A collection of the best new ways to discover new music (for free). Five things we learned on what makes great style — from one of the world’s foremost menswear experts. And a productivity guide that promises to cut your workweek in half.

Even how to buy a private island — for as little as $50,000.

Coming up over the next few days: our definitive guide for dressing for the fall and how to make power moves in every phase of your life.

Starting tomorrow, you’ll find all of this knowledge on our new website.

Which was on its own learning process. And that reminds us: time to buy our tech guys a beer and a shot.

Something we know a thing or two about.

Here’s to ignorance.
