Already well-known for his work in the restaurant world, clothing industry and a few other wordly disciplines, Bill Murray is adding to his impressive résumé by hitting the road with his band.

Accompanied by cellist Jan Vogler, violinist Mira Wang and pianist Vanessa Perez, Murray gave fans a look at what to expect on the “New Worlds” tour and accompanying album during an appearance at the Dresden Music Festival in Germany over the weekend.

Cribbed from the work of artists ranging from Johann Sebastian Bach to Ernest Hemingway, the music and spoken-word pieces attempt to describe “the collision of America and Europe,” Murray told The New York Times. “We are from four different continents. And when the continents come together, the music moves right across the peninsulas from one to the other. It’s just a short journey from one continent to the other.”
