Is Japan Hiding an Electric Supercar That Can Do 0-60 in 2 Seconds?

The record-breaking build debuts at the Frankfurt Motor Show

The Aspark Owl electric supercar. Ever heard of it? Didn’t think so. But there’s something you should know about the new electric supercar debuting at the Frankfurt Motor Show later this month:

Allegedly, it has a 0-to-60-mph time of less than two seconds.

As the above video shows, it certainly appears as though the zero-emissions supercar could back up the claims that Aspark is making. The all-wheel-drive model in the video, stripped down as it is, is made of carbon fiber body and sits on magnesium wheels, both of which are design elements that would make the car quite light.

That said, until the model makes it to Germany and the tech specs get revealed, we’re skeptical.

But we’d love to be proven wrong.
