In order to make sure seven of man’s best friends find new homes, a Budapest brewer is offering free personalized cases of man’s other best friend as treats to entice prospective adopters.

Earlier this month, Mad Scientist Brewery began crafting beers to match the personalities and looks of a septet of rescue pooches from the Noe Animal Sanctuary that needed to be adopted.

For example, Mad Scientist brewer Tamas Szilagyi paired a black rottweiler with a dark porter, a a wild-looking shepherd mix with an IPA and an amber-colored hound with an American red ale.

Since the campaign began, the sanctuary — which houses about 1,000 animals in all including red deer, cattle and foxes — has been able to adopt a few of the dogs as well as raise its profile.

“We wanted to draw people’s attention to that sanctuary dogs are not worse (than other dogs), Szilagyi told the Associated Press. “They are not a waste you throw out.”

At least if anyone finishes half a case the first night, they’ll have some hair of the dog left over.
