The scene above, from The Great Escape, has two stars: Steve McQueen and his Triumph Bonneville motorcycle.

If you wanna pay your respects to the latter, you can head across the pond, where the same Bonneville used in the 1964 film will be on display when the brand new Triumph Visitor Experience opens next month.

Located at the motorcycle maker’s headquarters in Hinckley, Leicestershire, McQueen’s fully restored border-fence-jumping Bonneville is just one of the highlights of the Visitor Experience. Others include a factory tour, the chance to examine a race engine prototypes and an opportunity to check out another famous Triumphs like the bike Tom Cruise rode in Mission Impossible 2.

Dispersed throughout eight areas with different themes, the never-before-seen exhibitions in the Experience were made to showcase what’s made Triumph’s bikes purr since 1902.

“With so many important and rare bikes on display, the Visitor Experience will be a must for motorcycle and movie fans alike, but also an opportunity to help us celebrate our proud heritage and our passion for building great motorcycles,” said Triumph commercial officer Paul Stroud.

Due to open on November 1st, the Triumph Visitor Experience belongs on every gearhead’s bucket list.
