Sunday dinner, redefined. One night only.

Men of good taste: inquire within

May 13, 2015 9:00 am

Sunday, they say, is a day of rest. Of televised sport. Of home-cooked meals.

Which is exactly why it’s also a good night to hit the town.

Shorter lines. Open tables. Less traffic (eh, sort of).

And now, this: Filigree Suppers, a design-focused pop-up dinner series touching down in L.A. for the first time this Sunday at Moon Canyon in Echo Park, tickets available now.

The MO for the evening: a pop-up soiree within a pop-up shop, featuring local makers like Ravel Craven’s linen textiles and J Carr & Co’s handcarved wood goods.

This Sunday’s theme: the sunset hues of Southern California circa 1970s.

You’ll be greeted with a paloma cocktail and dates seasoned with sea salt and rosewater.

At the table, you’ll dine on gazpacho followed by snapper and an array of fresh vegetables paired with California wines.

All served over Moon Canyon’s earthy, native flower displays.

Very relaxing.

Consider it the perfect closer to your weekend, and the perfect opener to your week.

But don’t tell anyone.

Let’s keep Sunday Funday our little secret.
