When it comes to getting into a members-only club, it’s all about what you bring to the table.

Unless the table comes to you.

Introducing Soho Home, a new marketplace that lets you outfit your abode with handsome furnishings from Soho House properties around the globe — Chicago included.

Founded in London over two decades ago, the world of Soho House is instantly recognizable to anyone who has spent any time there: think vintage trappings, reclaimed accoutrements and mismatched interiors, a reflection of the creative types who work and play there.

It’s a design aesthetic the New York Times once described, albeit on-the-nose, as “Royal-Geographical-Society-meets-Dwell-Magazine.”

That’s not saying the private members club and hotel chain’s properties — which now number 17 around the world, from Malibu to Istanbul — are exactly the same. Over the past few years, Soho House’s in-house design team, led by design director Vicky Charles, have given each house its own individual personality.

Soho Home, then, is all about bringing Soho’s distinct feel into your home.  Whether it’s wall art from the group’s go-to roster of artists or the Barwell crystal, the new marketplace makes it easy to achieve max private comfort, right down to the luxurious bedding you’ll find in the rooms.

Perhaps the the handiest part: you can shop by house. Below, a few of our favorites from Chicago. Go ahead and ogle. No references needed.
